Acceptance of Terms
 

By accessing our website, placing an order, or booking an installation service through Toilefy, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of our platform, including those who purchase products only, those who book installation services only, and those who use both.


About Our Services
 

Toilefy operates a two-part service offering:

  • Product retail — We sell handheld bidet attachments and accessories directly to consumers via our website.

  • Installer marketplace — We connect customers with licensed and vetted plumbing or trade professionals who install our products at the customer's premises.
     

Toilefy acts as a platform connecting you to independent licensed professionals. Installation work is carried out by those third-party contractors, not by Toilefy employees.
 

Product Sales
 

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice.

  • Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith and are as accurate as possible. Minor variations may exist between the product images and the physical product.

  • Risk of loss or damage to a product passes to you upon delivery to your nominated address.

  • Title to the product passes to you only upon receipt of full payment.

  • Products are intended for domestic use unless otherwise stated. Commercial use may void the product warranty.
     

Installation Services & Licensed Professionals
 

Toilefy facilitates connections between customers and independent, licensed trade professionals for product installation. The following terms apply:

  • All professionals listed on our platform hold applicable licenses required under Queensland legislation, including any relevant plumbing or water compliance licenses.

  • Toilefy makes reasonable efforts to verify professional credentials at the time of listing, but does not guarantee the ongoing license status, conduct, or workmanship of any independent professional.

  • The contract for installation work is formed directly between you and the relevant professional. Toilefy is not a party to that contract.

  • Any disputes regarding the quality, timeliness, or outcome of installation work should be directed first to the installer, and if unresolved, to the relevant Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) or licensing authority.

  • Toilefy reserves the right to remove any professional from our platform at any time.
     

Customers must ensure that installation work requiring QBCC-licensed plumbing is performed by an appropriately licensed trades person. Toilefy facilitates this but the customer remains responsible for verifying credentials before allowing work to commence.
 

Pricing & Payment
 

  • All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of placing a product order.

  • Installation service fees are set by the individual professional and are payable directly to them unless otherwise arranged through the platform. Toilefy may charge a booking or facilitation fee, which will be disclosed at checkout.

  • We use secure third-party payment processors. Toilefy does not store your full card details on our servers.
     

Returns & Refunds
 

We want you to be satisfied with your Toilefy purchase. Our returns policy is as follows:

  • Change of mind — You may return an unused, unopened product in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Return postage costs are at your expense.

  • Faulty or damaged goods — If a product arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at no additional cost to you.

  • Hygiene products — For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened, used, or installed, unless the product is faulty.

  • Installation services — Fees paid to third-party installers are non-refundable through Toilefy. Any refund or remedy for installation services must be sought directly from the installer.
     

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not limited by this policy. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of our standard returns time frame.
 

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@toilefy.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
 

Warranties
 

Our products come with a manufacturer's warranty as specified on each product listing. In addition, our products come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
 

  • Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase.

  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation by an unlicensed person, or failure to follow care instructions.

  • Toilefy provides no warranty over installation workmanship. Any workmanship warranty is a matter between you and the installing professional.
     

Limitation of Liability
 

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Toilefy's liability for any claim arising from a product purchase is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

  • Toilefy is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to water damage arising from improper installation.

  • Toilefy is not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, or conduct of independent installers connected through our platform.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
     

Your Obligations
 

By using Toilefy, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when placing orders or booking services.

  • Ensure that the installation site is reasonably accessible and safe for the installer to work in.

  • Not misuse, tamper with, or attempt to resell Toilefy services or accounts.

  • Comply with all applicable laws in connection with your use of our products and services.

  • Be aged 18 years or over, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
     

Privacy
 

Toilefy collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. By using our website and services, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, available on our website. We will not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with installers to the extent necessary to facilitate your booked service.
 

Governing Law
 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.We encourage you to contact us in the first instance to resolve any dispute info normally before commencing formal proceedings.
